BP003432: Human FSH alpha&beta Protein with the C-hFc Tag
Source: The recombinant Human FSH alpha&beta Protein, (amino acids Ala25-Ser116 (FSH alpha) & Asn19-Glu129 (FSH beta)) fused with a hFc tag at the C-terminus, was produced in HEK 293 cells.
Molecular Weight: The recombinant Human FSH alpha&beta protein with the hFc tag at the C-terminus has a predicted MW of 10.20 kDa (FSH alpha) and 39.2 kDa (FSH beta). Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 25-30 kDa (FSH alpha) and 50-60 kDa (FSH beta) based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
Activity:
Purity: >95% by SEC-HPLC and SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Endotoxin Level: Less than 1 EU per ug of protein as determined by LAL method.
Formulation: Lyophilized from 0.22 um filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized recombinant Human FSH alpha&beta Protein in sterile H2O to a protein concentration not less than 100 ug/ml. Centrifuge the tube before opening.
Shipping: The recombinant Human FSH alpha&beta Protein is shipped with ice pack. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
Stability & Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70°C as supplied.
